Venada Harding

Venada Harding, 100, a resident of McLeansboro, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at the McLeansboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

She was born in Coello on Oct. 16, 1908, a daughter of Hoover and Alice (Pharris) Meadows. She married Norman H. Harding; he preceded her in death.

She was a retired Realtor in Dayton, Ohio.

Graveside services were Wednesday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro with the Rev. Paul Prater officiating.

Mrs. Harding is survived by a sister, the Rev. Ruth Brown of McLeansboro, and one grandchild, Georgette Hess of Lancaster, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and three sisters.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in McMinnville, Tenn.
