Barbara Jean Nalley

— Barbara Jean Nalley, 58, of Katonah, N.Y., and formerly of Carmi, passed away at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Bethel Nursing Home in Ossining, N.Y.
She was born in Hamilton County on Feb. 20, 1950, a daughter of Whyman and Phyllis Darlene (Reed) Nalley.
She worked in the area of public relations and marketing for many years. Stephen Shulman is the father of her two children, Jack and Whitney.
Funeral services were Sunday at Ten Mile Baptist Church near McLeansboro. Interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi.
Barbara is survived by her mother, Darlene Nalley of McLeansboro; son Jack Shulman of Rye, N.Y.; daughter Whitney Shulman of Manhatten, N.Y.; brothers and sisters Jerry Wayne Nalley of McLeansboro, Kathy Brewer of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Judy Smith of McLeansboro; and her fiancé, Arthur Joseph Panoff of Katonah, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her father, Whyman Nalley, and one brother, Terry Lynn Nalley.
