Engagement: Prince — Malchert

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gregory Prince of McLeansboro and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fredrick Malchert Jr. of McLeansboro announce the engagement of their children, Bobbie Rae Prince and Arthur "Artie" Fredrick Malchert III.

Bobbie is a 2005 graduate of Hamilton County High School and 2007 graduate of Southeastern Illinois College. She graduated with an associate's degree in business/marketing and an accounting certificate.

She is employed by Peoples National Bank and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management at Franklin University.

Artie is a 2003 graduate of Hamilton County High School and a spring 2008 graduate of Rend Lake College. He graduated with an associate's degree in science/art and an associate's degree in engineering science.

Artie was employed by Carmi Wholesale Distribution Center and was a member of the Army Reserves. He will be reporting to active duty service in the U.S. Army.

Bobbie and Artie will be united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at First Baptist Church in McLeansboro.

A reception will follow after the ceremony with food catered by 17th Street Bar and Grill.

Invitations have been sent, but all friends are welcome.
