Engagement: Barker — Wiggins

Mr. and Mrs. William L. Barker of McLeansboro and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Wiggins of Dahlgren announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Brianna Whitney Barker to Joshua Douglas Wiggins.

Brianna is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Cox and the late Willie Earl Cox and Mrs. Evelyn Barker and the late Albert Barker, all of McLeansboro.

She is employed at the JC Penney Styling Salon in Mt. Vernon.

Josh is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zachman of Dahlgren and the late Lawrence and Beverly Wiggins.

He is employed by CSX Railroad.

The wedding will take place Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church, near McLeansboro, at 3 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

Some invitations are being sent, but all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
