Engagement: Davison — Link

Greg and Debbie Davison of Christopher announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lynn Davison, to Chad Elton Link.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Joe and Sybil Davison and Bob and Marian Furlow, all of Christopher, and the great-granddaughter of Violet Davison of Du Quoin.

The prospective groom is the son of David and Debbie Link of Macedonia and the grandson of Jack and Peggy Link of McLeansboro and Melba Darnell of Akin.

Jamie is a 1996 graduate of Christopher High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Chad is a 1999 graduate of McLeansboro High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology at SIU-Carbondale.

Chad and Jamie will be graduating from the SIU School of Medicine in May of this year. The couple will be residing in Evansville, Ind., and will begin their residency in family medicine at Deaconess Medical Center on July 1.

An April 19 wedding is planned.
