Anniversary: Page

— Ac and Ada Page are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married April 11, 1958, at Marlow General Baptist Church with the Rev. Merritt Strickland officiating the ceremony.
They have spent all but two years of their married life at the same location south of Belle Rive.
They are the parents of two children, Charles Norval and wife Linda of McLeansboro and Kathy Norton and husband Bill of Woodlawn. They have three granddaughters, Kristy Garrison and husband Brad, Tara Smith and husband Bernie, and Tawana Whittington. They also have three great-grandsons, Stepfon Smith and Ray and Cody Garrison.
Ac retired from Murrel Bernard Grain Co. Ada retired from teaching after 31 years; she taught at Dodds and Dahlgren grade schools.
A cake-and-punch reception for family and friends will be held at the Belle Rive Community Center on Saturday, April 5, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The couple requests gifts by omitted, but cards and any “remember when” stories would be appreciated. Cards may also be sent to their address at 1415 N. Abbott Lane, Belle Rive, Ill., 62810.
