Tree toppled

Two large trees fell within a few blocks of each other on South Washington Street over the weekend, including the one at left, its roots ripped from the ground at a home at the corner of South Washington and Pine streets. City crews were also working Monday to remove the remains of a tree that fell near South Washington’s intersection with East Randolph Street. Paul Lorenz/Times-Leader
