Doin’ the Chicken Dance

Pupils at Dahlgren Grade School were treated Monday to a performance of The Chicken Dance, led by sixth-grader Logan Billington (in costume) after the school presented a donation of $2,389 to the American Heart Association from its recent Jump Rope for Heart fund-raiser.

The top individual fund-raisers were fifth-grader Josh Karcher ($275), second-grader Elaine Miller ($125) and first-grader Matthew Gage ($115).
