Wanted: Your History

Do you have a photo of a Hamilton County business that’s no longer in business? How about a photo of a farmer who’s no longer around, or a school that’s long since closed?

We’re asking for your photos to include in our annual Focus edition, Hamilton County Keepsake.

Individuals, businesses, churches, schools — anyone can submit a photo showing Hamilton County people, activities, buildings — anything that might make our readers stop, look and say “Remember when ...?”

We’d like to have photos that are at least 25 years old, but photos that show a recent change in how things are in Hamilton County are OK, too.

Please drop off photos at the Times-Leader office, 123 S. Jackson St., on the downtown square, by Monday, March 17. If you have the photos in digital format, you may e-mail them (in jpg format, please) to paul.lorenz@mcleansborotimesleader.com.
